About Me

My career in Interior Design began in 1995 in Kingston Ontario, shortly after graduating. My first project was an ambitious one: the renovation and redesign of the Junior Ranks Club at CFB Kingston. Recognizing the scale and importance of the project, I partnered with Tall Pins Interiors, a well established firm that provided mentorship and guidance throughout the process.
The project encompassed multiple spaces, each with it's own unique style and purpose. The dance hall was transformed into a vibrant disco with modern lighting and finishes. The wet bar featured rich cherry wood and brass detailing, designed to create a masculine and inviting atmosphere. Detailing and textiles brought bold energy to the space with deep blue, silver grey, and fuchsia leather fabrics used for the chairs and a polyester fabric for the tables in a strip fabric mimicking the same leather colors as the chairs. The dry bar area offered a contrast with trendy sleek, modular furnishings in a white cubed crystalline melamine paired with gold and brown tweed fabrics on the lounge seating.
Upstairs, we refreshed three administrative offices along with the games and billiards rooms, where a palette of creamy white and burnt orange gave the space a relaxed, retro-modern feel. The success of the project gave me the confidence and experience to move forward in my career as an Interior Designer.
Over the past 25 years, I've completed hundreds of projects across Canada, from Saint John New Brunswick to Victoria British Columbia. Each location, client, and design challenge has shaped me into the designer I am today. I've also traveled to Germany, Belgium, and the Netherlands to study European Architecture. These experiences broadened my perspective and deeply influenced my aesthetic approach-elements of European design often find their way into my work, infusing projects with tieless elegance and architectural inspiration.
Interior Design has always been more than a profession to me-it's a passion. Every project is a new opportunity to create something beautiful, functional, and deeply meaningful for my Clients.
